North Adams: Drury Drama Team to present ‘Oz’

Friday November 2, 2012

The Drury Drama Team has selected the musical, "The Wizard of Oz," to open its 25th season with more than 75 area students ranging from pre-school age to grade 12 involved in the production, according to Director and Producer Len Radin.

Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Nov. 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 at Drury High School, with a 2 p.m. matinee performance also on Nov. 10.

Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for students. They may be purchased at the door, or in advance at Persnickety Toys on Eagle Street. There are no reservations.

Performances will include a Jitterbug dance scene that is often cut from other drama troops when presenting the "Wizard of Oz."
