North Adams: Energy expert and author to give talk

Veteran energy expert and Berkshire resident Bruce Harley will present his new book about residential energy efficiency from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the North Adams Public Library, third floor.

Harley will deliver a brief presentation on home energy fixes, with time for questions. A reception and signing will follow. Copies of Harley’s book, "Insulate and Weatherize -- For Energy Efficiency at Home," will be available for purchase at the event.

Harley is technical director of the national non-profit Conservation Services Group and has more than 22 years of experience in the field of energy conservation.

The event is co-sponsored by Wild Oats Community Market and is free and open to the public.
