North Adams: Groundhog Day topic of talk

The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will offer an illustrated lecture, "It’s Groundhog Day!" at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2.

This illustrated lecture will bring out of the shadows the origins and strange customs of this yearly ritual.

Western Gateway Heritage State Park is south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building #4. Information: (413) 663-6312.
