First Congregational Church will hold a special healing and prayer service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20. This service is open to all, regardless of religious belief.

The Rev. Pat Kriss, pastor, said in the news release announcing the event, "since there have been many recent serious illnesses at First Congregational Church, as well as among friends and colleagues in the Northern Berkshire area, it is the right time to come together and pray, to listen to music, to reach out and touch those who are hurting."

People who attend are encouraged to bring a photo or keepsake of the person for whom they wish prayers.

The church is located at 134 Main St. The building is accessible by wheelchair through the door directly off the small parking lot at the rear. Information: (413) 663-9940.
