North Adams: Historian to lead Veazie Street walk

Local Historian Paul W. Marino will lead a historical walk through the Veazie Street neighborhood on Saturday, July 19. The walk starts at 2:30 p.m. at the corner of Veazie and River streets.

In addition to being a residential area, the Veazie Street neighborhood holds a significant amount of local history. Architectural treasures include fine woodwork, stained glass windows, original front doors, transoms and decorative slate roofs, as well as an English garden.

Children are welcome. Rain or high wind cancels.
