North Adams: Lecture on Year of the Snake scheduled

The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park presents an illustrated lecture, "Chinese New Year and the Year of the Snake," on Saturday at 3 p.m.

This illustrated lecture will celebrate the Year of the Snake by exploring the natural and cultural history of this unlovable reptile.

Western Gateway Heritage State Park is located south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building #4 of the park. For more information, call (413) 663-6312.
