North Adams Public Library has announced a special paver installation honoring veterans.

The pavers will surround the flag pole given in memory of Sfc. Robert Swain, a loyal library patron, and dedicated to all veterans.

Each individual paver will be inscribed with the insignia of the branch of service the veteran served along with their military rank, first name, middle initial and last name.

Applications are available at the library and can be printed off the library’s website, www.naplibrary.com.

The cost of each paver is $150. Payment and a copy of the veteran’s DD-214 should be submitted with the application.

The pavers will be installed in spring 2013 with a special dedication ceremony.

Information: (413) 662-3133.
