North Adams: ‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ reading set
The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will offer an illustrated dramatic reading of Washington Irving’s "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Washington Irving’s classic "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" was published in 1819 as part of his Sketch Book and has been an annual favorite during the Halloween season.
Western Gateway Heritage State Park is south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building #4. Information: (413) 663-6312.
