ADAMS -- A North Adams motorcyclist faces drunk driving and other charges following a two-vehicle crash early Sunday evening.

Around 6:20 p.m., 52-year-old Kyle Black was riding his 2000 Harley-Davidson on North Summer Street approaching the intersection with Lime Street when he apparently ran the stop sign, according to local police. Black proceeded to collide with a 2007 Pontiac G5 traveling on Lime Street operated by Peter Langenback, 48, also from North Adams.

The two men suffered minor injuries and were expected to seek treatment on their own, police said.

Black was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, failure to wear a helmet and the stop sign violation. He was released on his own behalf and is expected to appear Aug. 12 in Northern Berkshire District Court.
