North Adams man pleads guilty to cocaine charge, has case continued
PITTSFIELD — The case of a North Adams man, facing a cocaine possession charge from 2014, was continued without a finding Wednesday.
Robert A. Scutt Jr., 26, pleaded guilty to the lone count in Berkshire Superior Court before Judge John Agostini.
The case will be continued for one year, during which time Scutt must avoid illegal drugs, submit to testing and continue with counseling.
With no violations of those conditions or no further legal trouble during that time, the case will eventually be dismissed.
The charge stems from a motor vehicle stop in North Adams on Nov. 13, 2014.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
