North Adams man pleads not guilty to rape, abuse of disabled person
PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was held on $50,000 bail after pleading not guilty to rape charges in Berkshire Superior Court on Wednesday.
The complaint against Henry Brazeau includes three counts of rape and two counts of caretaker abuse of a disabled person stem from incidents involving a 22-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, according to a press release issued on Wednesday by the Berkshire District Attorney's Office. The investigation was conducted by Massachusetts State Police and North Adams Police.
Brazeau, 49, of Adams Street, had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf in Berkshire Superior Court on Wednesday.
