North Adams: MCLA concert to benefit food pantry

The MCLA Society of Music will present a Hunger and Homelessness Awareness concert, featuring T-Bone Daddy, a rocking blues trio and 2012 Guitar Jam IV finalist; Spooky & the Nomad; and the MCLA Chamber Ensemble, on Saturday, Nov. 17, in Venable Gym.

This is an all-ages show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Suggested admission is a free-will cash donation of any size or a non-perishable food item to benefit the Friendship Center Food Pantry on Eagle Street.

Friendship Center volunteers will be on hand, selling baked goods and soft drinks to benefit the pantry.

Event sponsors are The MCLA Society of Music, Northern Berkshire Interfaith Action Initiative Friendship Center Food Pantry, MCLA Chamber Ensemble, MassPirg and MCLA Center for Service.
