North Adams Motorama: A celebration of all things motorized


Calling all motorheads, lovers of anything with wheels or under-the-hood gawkers: North Adams Motorama rolls into town from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28. Main Street in North Adams, Mass., will be shut down to driving traffic but cars of all shapes, sizes and models will fill the street.

It's free for anyone to attend but pre-registration is required for anyone interested in participating.

For the first time, there will be a swap meet Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the lot behind Big Y and Advanced Auto. There will also be a free a drive-in movie on Saturday at the Center Street parking lot, put on by the North Adams Movieplex. Sing a long to "Grease." Movie stars at 8:30 p.m.
