North Adams: NAPS sets pre-k registration, screening

The North Adams Public Schools will hold pre-kindergarten registration and screening on Wednesday and Thursday, March 23 and 24, at the Johnson School building, second floor, 21 Williams St., by scheduled appointments between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Children who will be 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2016, can be registered for pre-kindergarten.

Parents whose child is already enrolled in pre-k do not need to make an appointment. Parents of a 3-year-old who have a concern about a suspected disability can also call.

Parents will need to bring the child to registration and screening, along with copies of the child's immunizations, an updated physical and the child's birth certificate.

In addition, for pre-k registration, proof of residency, such as a household bill, is also required.

To schedule an appointment, call 413-664-4159.
