North Adams: NARH offering osteoporosis education night

North Adams Regional Hospital invites the community to "Building Better Bones" to learn about osteoporosis and how to reduce the risk on Monday, May 13, at NARH.

Participants may sign up in advance for one of the sessions which begin at 5 p.m. Each half-hour session will be followed by a short demonstration of osteoporosis-fighting exercises in the NARH Rehab Services gym.

The education sessions will include presentations from physical therapist Maryann Racette, physical therapist assistant Carol Burns, registered dietitian Kristin Irace, and radiologic technologist Linda Bailot, NARH’s bone densitometry specialist.
