North Adams: Panel to present college transition seminar


A panel of experts from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts will present a seminar on how to handle the transition to college life at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, upstairs at the Freight Yard Pub.

The panel will include Joshua Mendel, senior associate director of admission; Kate Heekin, assistant director of the Center for Student Success and Engagement; Celia Norcross, director of Student Development and Activities; and Nate Gutmann, sophomore student.

This event is free and open to the public.

Students and parents will learn about what it is like to leave home for college and face big changes in a small amount of time.
