North Adams: Public health clinics scheduled this month

The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Northern Berkshire will offer several public health clinics in the region in January.

The clinics include blood pressure and blood sugar screening, medication reviews, heights and weights, and health teaching. Flu vaccine will be offered at the walk-in clinics at the VNA offices only.

Public health clinics are offered from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Jan. 8 and 22, and Thursdays, Jan. 10 and 24, at the VNA & Hospice’s headquarters, 99 Hospital Ave., on the campus of North Adams Regional Hospital.

In Adams, clinics will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at Barrett House on Wednesday, Jan. 2; Valley Street Apartments on Thursday, Jan. 10; Millhouse Apartments on Wednesday, Jan. 16; and at the new Adams Council on Aging facility on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

In North Adams: Village East from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8; St. Joseph’s Court from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9; and the Spitzer Center from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
