North Adams: Tickets available for father/daughter Valentine dance

The 20th annual Father and Daughter Valentine Dance will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at the Eagles Hall on Curran Highway.

This semi-formal event is for fathers or father figures and their daughters of all ages. People have attended previous events with their fathers, grandfathers, uncles, neighbors, or friend’s father.

The event will include a disc jockey, door prizes, raffles and various other prizes. A large selection of baked goods and beverages will be available.

Proceeds will benefit the Adams Playground Project to help in the construction of a new playground behind C.T. Plunkett School in Adams and the Berkshire Country Adoptive Families support group.

Tickets cost $10 per person and are available at Val’s Variety on Columbia Street, Adams, and Where’d You Get That?! on Spring Street, Williamstown.

Due to limited space, tickets will not be available at the door this year.
