Posted

The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and the City of North Adams announce that Peter Tomyl, president of the Mohawk Trail Association, has been named grand marshal of the 59th annual Fall Foliage Festival Parade to be held Sunday, Oct. 5.

The 100th Anniversary of the Mohawk Trail is this year’s parade theme.

During his 15 year tenure as MTA president, Tomyl has implemented the use of billboards and developed an online presence with a new website and social media outlets, resulting in increased visitation from the Boston and New York markets.

The parade is coordinated by the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce. For more information on the parade or to volunteer, call Danielle Thomas at (413) 499-4000, ext. 126, or visit www.fallfoliageparade.com.
