North Adams: Turkey dinner to benefit needy in Northern Berkshire


The local conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is hosting a turkey dinner to benefit those in need in the greater Northern Berkshire community, including those affected by the closing of the North Adams Regional Hospital.

The dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish Center. Take-out dinners will be available.

Tickets are $13 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for children 10 and under. Tickets are being sold by conference members and at the Parish Office, (413) 663-5316. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parties of eight or more may make reservations if desired.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides emergency funds, advocacy, and spiritual support to Northern Berkshire County residents.
