North Adams: Veterans Day program announced


The Veterans Day parade will step off at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, from the American Legion home.

The parade will move north on American Legion Drive, east on Main Street, left on Eagle Street to the Veterans Memorial where the ceremony will take place.

Wayne Soares will serve as master of ceremonies.

Keynote speaker will be James Brosnan, LTC, U.S.A.R., retired, superintendent of McCann Technical School.

All parade participants are requested to be at the American Legion parking lot by 10 a.m. All veterans are invited to participate; veterans do not have to be a member of any organization.

Inclement weather will move the ceremony to the American Legion.
