Pedestrian killed in Milton identified as high school senior


MILTON, MASS. >> The pedestrian struck and killed while crossing a Milton street has been identified as an 18-year-old Milton High School senior.

State police announced Thursday that Katelisa Etienne was struck by an SUV at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday as she crossed the intersection of at Brush Hill Road at Aberdeen Road.

She was taken to Boston Medical Center where she died from her injuries.

Police say the driver, a 44-year-old Boston man, stayed at the scene.

No charges have been filed.

The investigation is ongoing.

In an email to parents, Milton High Principal James Jette said Etienne entered the Milton schools in 2004 and was expected to graduate in June.
