'Black Panther' star says he will adopt inclusion rider

Michael B. Jordan says that he will adopt inclusion riders for all projects produced by his production company.

In a message on Instagram on Wednesday, Jordan pledged to support "the women and men who are leading this fight." His announcement followed Frances McDormand's acceptance speech at Sunday's Oscars, where she urged the industry to adopt inclusion riders.

Jordan's Outlier Society production company is developing a sci-fi series for Netflix and other projects. The 31-year-old Jordan stars in the superhero blockbuster "Black Panther."

Shania Twain among guests on 'RuPaul's Drag Race'

VH1 said Thursday that Shania Twain, Kate Upton, Christina Aguilera and Lena Dunham will serve as guest judges on the 10th season of "RuPaul's Drag Race," in which 14 drag queens compete for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar" and a grand prize of $100,000.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" returns at 8 p.m. March 22.

TV show advisor dead at 60

D'Wayne Swear, a law enforcement officer in Louisiana and Mississippi whose career with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service led to a job as an adviser on the television series "NCIS: New Orleans," has died at age 60.

Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home said Swear died Tuesday at his home in Gulfport. His longtime friend Glenn Grannan of the Hancock County Sheriff's Office said Swear had recently been diagnosed with cancer.

Swear was a deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in suburban New Orleans before working as an agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. He retired from NCIS in 2010 and settled in Gulfport. He came out of retirement to work with the Hancock Sheriff's Office, said Grannan. In 2014, he became an on-set technical advisor for "NCIS: New Orleans."
