PEOPLE: Actress Marlee Matlin expresses concern over GOP healthcare bill; Jay-Z's new "4:44" due on June 30; Alejandro Ganz named Latin Grammy Person of the Year
Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin says she is "extremely concerned" about funds being cut from services for the disabled.
Matlin, who was the first deaf person to receive an Academy Award, spoke Monday in Tel Aviv. Matlin is in Israel to receive the prestigious Morton E. Ruderman Award for her lifelong activism for people with disabilities.
She said it would be a "disaster" if health care is cut back in the U.S.
Matlin said "people with disabilities need to be more outspoken."
Matlin won the Oscar for best actress for 1986's "Children of a Lesser God."
'4:44' to drop June 30 on Tidal
Jay Z's new album will be released June 30 and will be available only to users of the music streaming service Tidal, which the rapper co-owns.
Tidal announced the news on Twitter early Monday along with a 30-second black-and-white clip from a video of one of the album's songs. The new album, called "4:44, is Jay Z's first CD since "Magna Carta Holy Grail" in 2013.
Latin Grammys name Person of the Year
Spanish music star Alejandro Sanz has been named 2017 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
The academy will honor the 18-time Latin Grammy Award- and three-time Grammy Award-winner on Nov. 15 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, on the eve of the Latin Grammys.
Sanz made his debut in 1991 with "Viviendo Deprisa." He has sold more than 25 million records. His latest album is 2015's "Sirope."
