Peru: Church hosts annual Mountain Market

Peru Congregational Church will hold its annual Mountain Market craft event from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Community Center, 3 East Main Road, Route 143.

Table space is available for vendors. All handmade articles and produce are welcome. Commercial merchandise is acceptable. For information, call 413-655-2613.

In addition to maple syrup, Peru honey, and other local products, Cabot Cheese will be sold from the original Vermont wheel. The snack bar will be open both days.

A homemade baked bean supper will be available on Friday and the trio "Saved by Grace" will perform from 6 to 8 p.m.

A pancake breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday to benefit the Hurricane Relief Fund and homemade pies and beef stew will be available at noon.

Admission is free and the building is handicap accessible.
