Pianist, violinist to perform at Oldcastle


BENNINGTON -- L'Ensemble continues its residency at Oldcastle Theatre with its second winter concert with violinist Dale Stuckenbruck and pianist Heawon Kim, on Sunday, Feb,16, at 3 p.m., at the theater, 331 Main St.

The program will include selections by Biber, U. Mamlock, J. Corigliano, and Resphigi.. There will also be a selection of Chinese folk songs and Mr. Stuckenbruck will the musical saw and Ms. Kim the piano in songs by various composers.

L'Ensemble was founded in the mid-70s and has commissioned many works from American composers and included the work of American poets such as Maya Angelou and William Bronk. Ida Faiella, L'Ensemble's Artistic Director, will be featured in a concert at Oldcastle Theatre in March entitled "I Love a Piano."
