Pignatelli is a vote for leadership

Saturday September 1, 2012

Every organization needs a leader, and that is why I strongly support Scott Pignatelli in his quest to head the Middle Berkshire register of deeds.

A leader sets a tone by communicating a vision, and this is something which Scott has done throughout this campaign. His message that the register’s office should, first and foremost, dedicate itself to outstanding customer service while challenging itself to identify ways to operate more efficiently typifies Scott’s experience as a leader and a manager, a benefit of owning and operating a family business for 15 years.

Finally, the Scott Pignatelli I know is more than just a leader and manager. He is a good, honest, sensitive man; a person of indefatigable energy and enthusiasm; extremely active in service organizations, like UNICO; and, as evidenced by his position on the Lenox Board of Assessors, a dedicated volunteer to the community in which he lives.

Please join me in voting for Scott Pignatelli for register of deeds on Thursday, Sept. 6.

The writer is the former mayor of Pittsfield.
