Pittsfield: Alchemy Initiative to present Handmade Holiday Festival

Alchemy Initiative's seventh annual Handmade Holiday Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in the Paterson Field House at Berkshire Community College, 1350 West St.

Alchemy Initiative has chosen an array of vendors who make handcrafted goods including one-of-a-kind jewelry, apparel and accessories, natural body products, ceramics, children's items, housewares, affordable art, holiday décor, and more.

There will be an opportunity for shoppers to make their own DIY craft with IS183 Art School, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. IS183 will offer a 10 percent discount on their winter/spring programs when shoppers sign up at the festival.

The event is free and open to the public and handicap accessible.
