Pittsfield: Art exhibit to feature the work of Morningside School students

IS183, Art School of the Berkshires, invites the public to attend the Program Ending Art Exhibit and Completion Ceremony for Morningside Community School’s fall semester of Learning Through Arts at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Spice Dragon, 297 North St., in the second floor ballroom.

The ceremony will showcase of 2D and 3D artwork created by the 73 kindergarten to fifth grade students in the LTA program at Morningside.

The artwork includes paper mache character puppets, pyramids and hieroglyphs, nature journals, story books, and sculptural tollbooths and word art pieces exploring the visual representation of text in "The Phantom Tollbooth."
