Pittsfield: Author and musician to lead creative writing workshop

Children’s book author Jana Laiz and Tanglewood’s official bagpiper, Nancy Tunnicliffe, will hold a joint celebration of the art of creative thinking and writing at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 28, on the mini-meadow lawns of Herman Melville’s Arrowhead, located at 780 Holmes Road.

With words and music they will guide and facilitate new works from their workshop participants.

The cost for adults is $15 and children will be included for a $9 fee.

The workshop will take between two and two and a half hours. The results may be used, with permission, in a special publication later in the year.
