Pittsfield: BCC announces open house events
Berkshire Community College has scheduled two open house events for prospective students and their families.
The spring open house will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 26. Prospective students and their guests are invited to campus to meet one-on-one with BCC representatives from various offices.
Attendees will also hear directly from current BCC students about their experiences and take a campus tour. The event will include informational breakout sessions about paying for college, transferring to a four-year college or internships and career opportunities.
"Experience BCC," a unique open house event that aims to show prospective students what it's like to be a BCC student, will be held Wednesday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees will have opportunities to observe classes, learn more about BCC sports and clubs, take a tour of the campus, attend a panel discussion with students, and enjoy a free lunch in the cafeteria.
To register for either event, visit www.berkshirecc.edu/openhouse. Walk-ins are welcome.
