Pittsfield: BCC Players to hold auditions for musical

The Berkshire Community College Players will hold auditions for their upcoming spring musical, "Young Frankenstein," at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 10 and 11, in K-111 in BCC’s Koussevitzky Arts Center.

A 32-bar excerpt from an upbeat Broadway song and a comedic monologue under one minute in length are required.

Those auditioning may utilize piano accompaniment (to be provided) or bring a karaoke track. Physical movement will also be a part of the auditioning process.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in K-111.

The performances will take place in the Robert Boland Theatre at BCC’s main campus Fridays through Sundays, May 9 to 18.
