Pittsfield: Berkshire Athenaeum to host jazz quartet

The Brooklyn-based Adam O’Farrill Jazz Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave.

The concert, a Berkshire Jazz Week event, features O’Farrill, who has been playing the trumpet since he was 8, Zachary O’Farrill on drums, Gabe Schnider on guitar, and Russ Hall on bass.

The O’Farrills are the sons of Grammy award-winning pianist Arturo O’Farrill and classical pianist Alison Deane.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum, the concert is free.
