Pittsfield: Berkshire Concert Choir to host summer sing series

The Berkshire Concert Choir will host four summer sings in the sanctuary of Zion Lutheran Church, 74 First St., at 7:30 p.m. Mondays, July 14 and 28, and Thursdays, Aug. 21 and 28.

These evenings will be regular rehearsals for the Berkshire Concert Choir in advance of a November performance of Baroque music including Vivaldi’s Gloria and J. S. Bach’s Cantata No. 68 and Cantata No. 72.

Singers are invited to rehearse with Berkshire Concert Choir, meet the members and conductor Paula Nuss, and possibly join the choir. Music will be provided for guest singers.

While admission is free, donations of non-perishable food items or cash will be accepted and forwarded to local food pantries.
