Pittsfield: Berkshire County Arc participates in brain injury fundraiser

Twenty-three individuals from Berkshire County Arc's Brain Injury Program participated in the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts' Walk & Roll on Sept. 10 on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail in Cheshire.

The team, which was named "Wheels, Hearts and Hands," participated in memory of five individuals who had been members of Berkshire County Arc's Brain Injury Program over the years: Carrie, Beverly, Vincent, Michael, and David.

Amber Steele and Kara Rogers, Berkshire County Arc staff members, served as the co-captains.

More than 200 people attended the event, which had 150 participants.
