Pittsfield: Berkshire Immigrant Center to host training program


Berkshire Immigrant Center and Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition will present "ABC's of Immigration & Immigrants' Access to Benefits" from 8 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Berkshire Community College.

Topics include an overview of immigration laws, procedures and terminology; access to state and federal benefits; immigration remedies for survivors of domestic violence and other crimes; and national and statewide immigration news and advocacy.

The cost of $50 includes training materials and breakfast.
