Pittsfield: Berkshire Lyric to begin rehearsals

Berkshire Lyric announces the start of rehearsals for their spring concerts. The chorus rehearses Monday evenings at the Unitarian Church at the corner of Wendell Avenue and Broad Street.

New singers are welcome to attend the first rehearsal which will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14. A brief audition will take place immediately after the rehearsal.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary season this year, the Berkshire Lyric Chorus is preparing for two spring concerts starting with the annual Kick the Winter Blues fundraiser on April 7.

The season will conclude with a gala celebration concert on June 9 at Tanglewood’s Seiji Ozawa Hall featuring Stockbridge native and resident, soprano Maureen O’Flynn.
