The 65-voice Berkshire Lyric Chorus and the 35-voice Blafield Children’s Chorus will perform their annual holiday concert, Deck the Halls, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Park Square.

They will be joined by the Monument Mountain High School Chorus and the Spartones.

There will also be a special appearance by Gaudeamus, a select a cappella chorus of 10 young men from Simon’s Rock College in Great Barrington that specializes in early music.

Berkshire Lyric presented this concert on Dec. 1 in Stockbridge to a sold out audience.

The program will feature a wide variety of music including selections from the 15th century, concert arrangements of well known carols and popular Christmas standards.

The concert will close with a carol sing along with the massed chorus of 140 singers. John Demler and Nellie Rustic are the featured soloists.

All tickets are $20. Children are admitted free with an adult. Tickets may be purchased at the door by cash or check or can also be reserved or purchased online at berkshirelyricinfo.org.
