Pittsfield: BMC offers post-breast cancer wellness program

The Women’s Imaging Center at Berkshire Medical Center is presenting a six-week wellness program for those who have undergone breast cancer treatment, featuring nutrition information, stress reduction techniques, yoga, and more.

The program is being offered on Tuesdays, Oct. 2 through Nov. 6, with the majority of the features taking place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on those Tuesdays.

A nutrition education program will be presented on Oct. 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

All of the program’s components will be held in the BMC Private Dining Rooms, adjacent to the BMC Café.

The cost for the six-week program is $30, with financial assistance available.

This program is funded by a grant from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
