Pittsfield: Boys & Girls Club hosting School Readiness Fair

The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires will be hosting Berkshire County's fourth annual School Readiness Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at 16 Melville St.

The fair provides an opportunity for families to explore "learning through play" and preparing children and families for school success. The free event is sponsored by Berkshire United Way, the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires, and the Rotary Club of Pittsfield.

The fair is geared towards families of infants, toddlers, and preschool children, but children in elementary school are also welcome to attend. The theme for this year's fair is STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education.

Attendees will be given a bingo card to present at display tables for a stamp or signature. When the card is completed, they can return it to the main registration table to receive a free book provided by the Rotary Club.

For more about information, call Karen Vogel at Berkshire United Way, 413-442-6948, ext. 22.
