Pittsfield: Bucky Lewis comedy show to benefit epilepsy programs

The Western Mass. Council of the Epilepsy Foundation New England is sponsoring a night of adult comedy at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Itam Lodge on Waubeeka Road. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The event is hosted by Pittsfield resident Jackie Quetti, 22, an advocate of epilepsy research who has battled the disease since the age of 5. Quetti currently is a sophomore at Elms College in Chicopee.

New Hampshire native and former Pittsfield resident Bucky Lewis will headline the one-man show with comedy he calls "cutting edge and creative." It’s a return to the area for Lewis, who appeared in the Berkshires often during the 1980s and ‘90s. The event will benefit epilepsy programs in the Berkshires.

Tickets will be available at the Itam the evening of the show and at the following area locations: Desperado’s, Eagle Street, North Adams; Teddy’s Pizza, East Street, Pittsfield, and Kelly’s Package Store, Main Street, Dalton. Tickets are $25 per person.
