Pittsfield car crash results in minor injuries
PITTSFIELD -- Two children were transported to Berkshire Medical Center with minor injuries after two-car rear-end collision on Williams Street Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, both Judy Callahan of Pittsfield and Jenna Williamson of Adams were traveling eastbound in Volkswagen vehicles on Williams Street around 8 a.m.
Callahan stopped to make a left-hand turn onto Leona Drive, when Williamson struck Callahan's car from behind.
Williams was found to be at fault and was cited for the accident. Two children from Callahan's vehicle were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. The road was completely cleared up by 8:45 a.m.
