Pittsfield: Cemetery announces flower regulations
St. Joseph’s Cemetery has announced that two movable containers of live flowers per lot will be allowed from Mother’s Day, May 11, until Labor Day, Sept. 1.
Artificial decorations, shepherd hooks, solar lights, statues, glass containers, and containers with prongs are not allowed.
The planting of flowers, trees and shrubs is not allowed. Existing trees and shrubs must be trimmed and maintained by a lot owners or they will be removed.
Cemetery gates are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
