Pittsfield: City seeks input on artist live/work space survey

The Office of Cultural Development and the Department of Community Development announce the availability of an electronic survey to collect artist feedback regarding the need for artist work space and live/work space in Pittsfield.

A link to the electronic survey has been posted on the City’s website at www.cityofpittsfield.org as well as the Office of Cultural Development’s Facebook page.

The survey will also be distributed to area artists via electronic mailing lists by the Office of Cultural Development. The artist survey includes questions about the artists’ current spaces, needs, economic wherewithal, and the characteristics of the artists’ desired working and living spaces.

The survey also includes questions as to the specific type of media artists are working with such as performing arts, painting, sculpture, photography, writing, textiles, and assembled mediums, etc.
