Pittsfield: Concert to benefit local food pantries


Berkshire County musicians will be giving a concert at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at First United Methodist Church, 55 Fenn St. Proceeds will benefit the local food pantries.

Tari Wheeler Roosa, flute; Joshua Birns-Sprague, piano, organ and flute; and special guest Daniel Broad, double bass, will perform an eclectic mix of music including compositions by Amadeus Mozart, Claude Bolling, Claude Debussy, Scott Joplin, Tsuneo Imahori, and an organ improvisation by Birns-Sprague.
