Pittsfield: Conservation District to hold annual meeting

The 2012 Berkshire Conservation District annual meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Zucchini’s Restaurant, 1331 North St. The event will take the place of the November monthly board meeting.

At 7 p.m., guest speaker Ken Gooch from the Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation will speak about the ecological threats of Emerald Ash Borer and Asian Longhorned Beetle.

This event is open to the public. The deadline for dinner reservations has passed, but guests will be admitted at 7 p.m. for the evening program free of charge.

Registration not required, however, a phone call to the office is appreciated in order to ensure available seating.

The board of supervisors holds open public board meetings every third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. at 78 Center St., Suite 206.
