Pittsfield: Counselor Association sponsoring graduate course
The Berkshire County School Counselor Association will be sponsoring the course, "Professional Seminar in School Counseling and Student Support." Classes will meet from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Sept. 12 through Dec. 12, in Pittsfield.
Retired Pittsfield School Adjustment Counselor Carole Siegel will instruct the course assisted by Anne French, North Adams adjustment counselor team leader and service-learning coordinator.
The purpose of this course is to increase knowledge about current models of intervention and educational practice, to provide opportunity for reflection on one’s professional practice, and to develop and strengthen skills to support effective practice.
The cost is $590 for BCSCA members and $615 for nonmembers which includes the cost of three in-service graduate credits from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
