Posted

The Berkshire Benevolent Association for the Blind will host Dining in the Dark on Thursday, March 24, at the ITAM Lodge. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.

Participants will enjoy an Irish-themed meal blindfolded to experience what it is like to be visually impaired.

The event also includes a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and other surprises.

Members of UNICO are providing the meal. Tickets cost $10 at the door or by calling Phil Schallies at 413-442-6600. All proceeds will assist visually impaired individuals.

The Association meets the first Monday of the month at the Dalton VFW, 366 East Housatonic St., Dalton. To join or volunteer, contact Tim Potter at 413-443-7478.
