Pittsfield: Dinner, concert to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Local singer-songwriter Bobby Sweet will host a Giving Thanks Fundraising Benefit Concert for the Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, Nov. 10, at First United Methodist Church, 55 Fenn St.

The evening includes a Thanksgiving dinner and a show featuring Sweet and his BSweet Band, with special guests Jordan Weller and the Feathers.

Dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m., with the final seating at 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for the dinner and $10 for the concert. Tickets are available at bobbysweet.com and berkshirehabitat.org.

There will be numerous raffles, including one for 500 gallons of home heating oil or propane, donated by Brown Oil. Local farms and businesses are donating food for the dinner.
