Pittsfield: Dr. Mark Pettus to lead health seminar

Dr. Mark Pettus will present a health seminar, "The Origins of Health: The future ain't what it used to be," from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at the Crowne Plaza, 1 West St.

The seminar will look at the environmental impact on wellness, and the correlation of the human-animal bond and overall optimal health.

Pettus is a triple board certified internist, nephrologist and integrative medicine physician. He currently serves as the director of medical education, wellness and population health at Berkshire Health Systems.

The program will include door prizes and light refreshments.

Registration is $28 in advance, $34 at the door. The program is approved for three CEU credits. Sponsors are Got Spots Rescue Group and The Berkshire Carousel.
